Main responsibilities (Activities and tasks)

  • Assist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization's mission and help execute staff succession and growth plans.
  • Train the Finance Unit and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters.
  • Work with the President/CEO on the strategic vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships as well as assisting in the development and negotiation of contracts.
  • To assist in preparation of accurate and reliable periodical financial statements complying with applicable accounting standards CJPL as well as Crescent Foundation, Zohra Trust, all companies under Crescent Group MMKF management 
  • To design and maintain internal control system including financial and operational controls, accounting system and reporting structure.
  • Assist in drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, and determining cost effectiveness of prospective service delivery.
  • Assess the benefits of all prospective contracts and advise the CA/CEO.
  • Ensure adequate controls are installed and that substantiating documentation is approved and available such that all purchases may pass independent and governmental audits.
  • To facilitate the internal and external audits of all the above companies
  • To comply with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in providing the CA/CEO with an operating budget. Work with the CA/CEO to ensure success through cost analysis support, and compliance with all contractual requirements.
  • To assist preparation of annual Budgets and comparison Budget with Actual results.
  • Interpreting legislative rules and regulations to ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and contractual guidelines
  • Ensuring that all government regulations and requirements are disseminated to appropriate personnel
  • Monitoring compliance, i-e handling all of the company's personal & legal matters
  • Assist the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including: organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports.
  • Assist in handling and supervising the income tax matters of all the above companies.
  • Assist in overseeing all purchasing and payroll activity for staff and participants.
  • Assist in developing and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization.
  • Assist in monitoring the banking activities of the organization.
  • Assist in ensuring adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs.
  • Investigate cost-effective benefit plans and other fringe benefits which the organization may offer employees and potential employees to attract and retain qualified individuals.
  • Assist in finding and maintain business insurance plans and health care coverage analysis
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and timely calculations of wage incentives, commissions, and salaries for the staff.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets, including assets purchased with government funds (computers, etc.) assuring all are by federal regulations.
  • To undertake any other duties assigned by CA/CEO or the directors.

Work conditions:

  • Positioned at HO Lahore.
  • On call at weekends or public holidays

  • Capable of working under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Enjoys good physical health.
  • Able to motivate others.
