1. To coordinate with HoD and HCM to develop and execute Technical Training Plans for inductees in ODN development team.
2. To conduct in-house sessions based on crucial theoretical concepts covering the fundamentals of Fiber Optics, basics of Fiber Optics Splicing, Fiber Optics Termination, and Testing.
3. To lead demonstrations and practical sessions in a class-room environment for Cable Preparation, Optical Fiber Splicing, and Testing.
4. To coordinate and supervise on-field demonstrations and practical for Cable Preparation, Optical Fiber Splicing, and Testing.
5. Developing performance standards and testing trainees on the same parameters.
6. To coordinate with HCM to incorporate Personal Effectiveness Workshops in the training plan and execute the same.
7. To develop and steward technical training budget based on:
a. Venue/machinery/tools/equipment (CAPEX requirements)
b. Supplies/Consumables (OPEX requirements)
Candidate Specification:
Education:
- Minimum graduate – Science background
Experience:
- 4-years’ experience of Splicing with at least 1 year in actively leading training plans
- Robust Fiber Optics experience
Competencies:
- Excellent communication and training skills to effectively develop positive relationships with trainees and imparting the knowledge
- Strong analytical ability to identify trends and opportunities to effectively train the individuals as per their individual requirements
