The Copywriter/Social Media Coordinator will write, review and edit marketing material and coordinate social media activities for the organization. This role will work collaboratively with staff from across the organization to promote their goals and messages while maintaining and aligning with corporate message and image. This person will play a pivotal role in executing and refining IBG' credibility and build communities to create integrated marketing campaigns ensuring consistency in voice and brand.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Conceptualizing and creating both original and curated content for two brands' social media channels
  • Monitoring social media channels and responding to customers accordingly
  • Reporting social media analytics and evolving strategy continually based on findings
  • Trying new ideas to improve upon methods and techniques
  • Writing marketing copy for landing pages, email marketing, website, apps, product descriptions and more as needed
  • Pitching blog ideas, writing posts, and publishing using WordPress
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to nail down messaging for a range of projects
  • Gathering content internally based on office events and other company culture moments
  • Contributing creative ideas in support of brand strategy and team's greater goals
  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven working experience in social media or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a copywriter or social media coordinator
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
  • Fluency in English
  • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, metrics and tracking
