Data Management Officer is responsible for data collection/verification by visiting the supported health facilities in the project districts. He/She will be responsible for medicine/medical equipments distribution to the health facilities. He/She will work with Health team in project districts to provide technical support on rotational basis.
- This position shall be based in field office Peshawar and required 50-60% travelling to project districts.
- Ensure good quality data collection from supported health facilities.
- Develop/modify/update Health Information System (HIS) databases and tools.
- Prepare distribution plan according to established standards, verify and distribute health supplies to facilities by ensuring complete documentation.
Major Responsibilities:
- Collection and compilation in a timely manner of data for data entry from health centers regarding family planning and PAC services to be entered into database.
- Analyze collected data and convert it into value added information according to project indicators.
- Review and refine data collection and verification processes and procedures to ensure that all desirable elements of data are captured by the system.
- Review and analyze data to graphically present utilization trends based on monitoring indicators.
- Review and Analyze FP items consumption, stock in hand and prepare for the next supplies order based on the needs.
- Perform other relevant tasks as required in support of processes for strengthening data analysis.
- Produce reports for specific needs aimed at enhancing efficiency, effectiveness and reliability of the decision making protocols.
- Provide support to report writing on data.
- Work in coordination with other two components namely health services and community mobilization
- Physically verify the project commodities at the time of delivery at warehouse and distribution at health facilities keep their tack and report any discrepancy.
- Planning and arrangement for resources required for distribution of project commodities.
- Ensure proper documentation of the projects commodities as per standards.
- Perform other tasks/duties assigned by the supervisor.
Skills
Language Skills: Must be fluent in Urdu, Pashtu & English languages both written and spoken.
