Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining computing environment by identifying network requirements; installing / upgrading network servers; monitoring network performance. Install, configure, and support company’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet system or a segment of a network system (Domain / Email). Maintain all network & computer hardware and software. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. Coordinate with IT-Staff, and implement network security measures.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Network Administration
• Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components.
• Install/maintain servers & desktops and provide the required support
• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, CCTV Systems and configurations.
• Administer WIN OS and MIS-servers
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Deploy the Active Directory and Email server for the application users
• Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
• Perform system administration using system tools and standard processes
• Maintain the installed servers, CCTV System and desktops.
Collaboration & Coordination
• Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel in order to facilitate purchases.
• Research new technology, and implement it or recommend its implementation.
• Maintain an inventory of parts for emergency repairs.
