Job Description:
  • Ensure that the Company is eligible to conduct business in the country where the project is being pursued.
  • Identify the need for pre- qualification with owners, EPC companies, consultants and acquire enlistments accordingly.
  • Gathering & sharing information and establishing networking with clients and concerned persons / authorities with regards to upcoming projects in order to support management in formulating strategies related to business development.
  • Focus on upcoming / specific projects (having more financial volume) in order to ensure acquisition of contract.
  • Establish tangible business generation targets focusing on monetary value for measuring success.
  • Provide support related to networking and documentation (including pre- qualification & business promotion material and contacts) to respective BA in order to deal with clients by addressing quires and acquire business / project for that respective BA.
  • Perform market intelligence related to potential projects, competitors, and other factors affecting Company’s business in order to formulate marketing related strategies to acquire more business for Company.
  • Identify & develop strategic alliances with potential partners to place the Company in an advantageous position.
  • Interface meetings with Client, Head BD, Head BAs, Head JVs and concerned authorities in order to facilitate resolution of issues and promote good working relations.
  • Perform studies and analyses in order to provide reports related to business development to support management in decision making related to business growth.
  • Ensure the effective achievement of departmental objectives through the leadership setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal in order to maximize subordinate and the performance of the section.
  • Recommend improvements to departmental policy and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to clients.
  • Accountable to create a safe working environment, manage risks, reduce exposure to hazardous liability and ensure implementation of QHSE policy
  • Comply with all QA/QC standards (DIMS documents) as applicable to the company systems, policies, procedures, and documents in order to deliver the expected quality of work.
