Senior Manager Finance, directly reporting to Director Finance, with overall responsibility for consolidated financials of the group.
Accountabilities
- Responsible for oversight and objective setting/appraisal of International Finance Team
- Tax liaison with Najeem ul Islam/Faisal Saleem and Grant Thornton / HRR (tax advisers)
- Overall supervision of the accounting function and the team
- Working alongside the marketing/sales team in forecasting revenues and maintaining the Budget/Forecast file, along with regular updates
- Overall responsibility for the interim/annual financial statements
- Issuance of weekly Dashboard to the executive management
- Responsible for ensuring fixed assets and intangibles module is updated on a regular basis and correct depreciation and amortisation is applied
- Review of any new contracts/addendum to contracts and ensuring terms are reflected in DPT/invoices
- Responsible for the promotion, professional development, morale & motivation and retirement or release of the Finance team
- Provide the leadership required for the successful completion of projects assigned to the above personnel
- Coordination with the relevant teams (marketing and sales) to ensure accurate recording of revenue and receivables
- Preparation and issuance of weekly Dashboard to the Executive Management to serve as a means of forecasting company performance and evaluation of actuals vs forecast.
- Liaise with the internal and external tax advisers of the company to fulfill all legal and regulatory requirements as required by the tax law and government institutions
- Review of any new contracts and changes to contract terms, which would have an effect on the recording of revenue and ensure this has been appropriately recorded in the company’s books
- Recording and analyses of revenues, assisting in future planning, Activation Summary Files, ensuring appropriate entries posted in GP. Assisting in the review and follow-up of EDU AR
- Preparation of annual budget, overall forecast of company performance, creating various scenarios for the Board, and comparing with actuals
- Preparation of pack for quarterly Board meetings, including financials and various analyses
- Preparation of annual as well as interim financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Preparation and maintenance of department wise Budget
- Providing guidance to PK team as and when required
- Providing support and info to MIS team and Internal Audit Team
