The 3D Designer will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate 3D models of sports apparel and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of fabric simulation, pattern making, and 3D visualization to produce designs that are both innovative and practical for production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop 3D models of sports apparel and equipment using CLO or similar 3D fashion design software.
- Work closely with the production and design teams to ensure that 3D designs are optimized for manufacturing.
- Research emerging fashion trends and new technologies in 3D modeling to create innovative product designs.
- Prepare and present design proposals and prototypes to management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with material suppliers and product developers to select suitable materials and discuss design specifications.
- Ensure all designs meet quality and technical standards.
- Revise models and drawings as required and provide final designs for production.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of 3D design software updates and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in 3D modeling, ideally in the fashion or sports equipment industry.
- Proficiency in CLO, Adobe Suite, and other relevant 3D design software.
- Strong understanding of textile properties, drape, color, and composition.
- Excellent visual and technical skills in 3D modeling and rendering.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of creativity and innovation.
