Construction Manager Mechanical reporting to the Project Manager, plans and oversee the construction projects and their progress, both onsite and offsite, in a timely and cost-effective manner. The CM is responsible for accomplishing the projects according to the urgency levels specified by Top management. Key responsibilities of the Construction Manager Mechanical reporting to the Project Manager includes:

  • Construction, operations management of irrigation and drainage systems for landscape and golf course area.
  • Field supervision in irrigation maintenance and construction systems with hands-on experience in scheduling and managing technicians.
  • Knowledge of water requirement for lawns, trees, shrubs, ground cover plants seasonal plants, etc.
  • Inspecting pumps, determining technical issues, completing maintenance and repair work, connecting hoses, reporting deficiencies to supervisors, and writing inspection reports.
  • Participate in the technical compliance audits of all on going work to ensure compliances for both, the consultants, and the contractors.
  • Analyzes the presented master plan of the project with the intention of finding ways of enhancing the project efficiency, saving time in project delivery, and maximizing its economic return to Eighteen.
  • Review the Contractor's schedule and ensure that sufficient resources are available to ensure the proper execution of the contract.
  • Follow-up on daily site activities and monitoring the Contractors performance.
  • Attend construction workshops, kick off meetings and progress meetings.
  • Coordinate with the Safety Manager on all site safety issues and follow-up on the required corrective actions.
  • Reviews the contract documents for each Package in respect of QA/QC requirements and procedures and advises the Project Manager of any deficiency.
  • Reviews QA/QC site organization, key personnel CVs as submitted by the consultants and the contractors and advises the Project Manager of his comments.
  • Attends activities on site and ensure their compliance with QA/QC procedures Monitor Non-Compliance issues and safeguard the proper and on time mitigating actions for these.
  • Participates in reviewing Close-Out Report as submitted by the Contractors.
