Due to our rapid growth we are expanding our team. We are looking for multiple Senior Test/QA Engineers who will work from our Islamabad office, as a part of USa based development team and collaborate remotely. The candidate must be passionate about software testing/QA and should have strong Web/Mobile app testing/QA skills. Candidate should be self-starter, team player, and should be able to work with minimal supervision. We offer competitive compensation package.
Responsibilities:
Strong experience with client server systems and understanding of the types of issues can result
Strong experience in software QA including test case and test plan creation, test execution, bug reporting and tracking
- Document, design, implement, execute and maintain test plans for developed products that demonstrate that requirements are met over a long period of time (stability and performance tests)
- Ability to setup lab or test environment replicating production environment
- Analyze new features and write and maintain functional, System test cases against them
- Maintain, track and file bugs/issues discovered or reported during testing using JIRA
- Work with development team to resolve issues in products and help in trouble-shooting the root cause
- Troubleshoot and suggest improvements on UI/UX
- Work with the development team to plan and strategize releases on time
- Work in the framework of an automated test infrastructure in a clean and disciplined way
- Strong experience with client server systems and understanding of the types of issues can result
- Strong experience in software QA including test case and test plan creation, test execution, bug reporting and tracking
- Familiarity with platforms/languages/technologies: Javascript, Asp, Asp.net Mobile(Android/iPhone/Windows Phone 8), Linux, SQL Server , scripting , AJAX, CSS, HTML/HTML5 and jQuery
- Knowledge of Asp.Net Web load/scalability testing using appropriate tools and API testing
- Familiar with trouble-shooting tools and methodologies that minimize the turn around time of issue identification
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex and dynamic software systems and interactions
- Experience testing complex mission-critical software applications
- Comfortable learning new technologies, tools, and platforms and adapting fast
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
- Excellent English communication skills
- At least Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Computer Engineering or equivalent from a reputable university
