ePlanet Technologies is urgently looking for an experienced IT infrastructure manager who shall be responsible for the strategic direction, daily operation, and service delivery of all compute, storage, servers, network, and telephony systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and set organizational goals necessary to successfully address ePlanet Technologies Infrastructure requirements.
- Oversees the daily operations of infrastructure and operations staff
- Responsible for all aspects of an organization’s network systems including software and hardware
- Responsible for the daily performance and availability of the organization’s network
- Recommends, implements, and maintains network architectures (LAN and WAN)
- Assesses organization’s current and future network needs
- Manage organization’s database needs and develops a long-term strategy for data storage, computing, networking and server management
- Establishes policies and procedures related to data security and integrity
- Oversees the design, maintenance and implementation of the systems that manage an internal database
- Responsible for developing and managing information systems security, including disaster recovery and database protection
- Provide support for and maintain evidence for PCI & PII compliance audits
Note: Only apply if have practical experience on Linux environments.
Skills Required
- Linux / Virtualization
- Network/Routing/Switches
- Hardware and Software Firewalls Configuration
- Documentation (Network Diagrams, Policies)
- PCI DSS Compliance (Card Data Flow Diagrams, Required Documentation)
- Practical VOIP experience, DID Management, Asterisk, Cisco etc.
- Email/Web/DB Server Management (Apache/Nginx hands on configuration)
- Cloud Computing (Amazon Web Services management, Setting up own cloud - Citrix etc)
- Version Control Systems/DevOPs (SVN/Git)
- IT Service Management, ITIL Certification
- CCNA/CCNP and other related certifications
- Project Management Certification /PMP would be a plus
- MySQL/MariaDB/NoSQL/SQL Server Database expertise would be a plus
