Marketing assistant manager will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales and marketing activities in assigned market. Staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.

Responsibilities:

· Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability

· Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects

· Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets

· Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed

· Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance

· Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin

· Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines

· Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction

· Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees

· Provides strategic communications counsel to internal clients

· Develops communications plans and materials for Affiliate initiatives

· Edits and proofreads content for Corporate Communications team members and clients, as requested

· Know how of marketing intelligence, accurate and confident decision-making in determining market opportunity

· Write and/or proofread various forms of communication such as newsletters, ads, flyers, brochures, statement inserts, sales collateral, sales reporting, Internet development

· Evaluate effectiveness of all promotion and advertising programs and recommend changes

· Support the company brand through the adherence to branding guidelines

Skills

Minimum Knowledge & Skills Required:

· Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications, or related field required

· Strong oral and written communications skills

· Must be able to exercise sound judgment independently

· Excellent personal computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook applications, Photoshop

· Report writing

· Must have the ability to handle conflicts and successfully manage multiple projects

· Must be able to work in a team environment with the ability to interact well in a positive manner

· Work requires the ability to multi-task and be flexible and client retain ship
