As a Senior .NET Developer with strong ASP.NET/C# experience you must have strong understanding of Software Development concepts with practical experience of Agile Development of Web 2.0 and Web Services.
The Senior .NET Developer ( ASP.NET/C# ) will have extensive Commercial Software Development with a C#/.NET background, preferably with exposure to functional programming and you must have experience of working on commercial websites and understand the importance of Web Standards.
The Senior .NET Developer ( ASP.NET/C# ) must have extensive experience (3+ years) with the following:
Mandatory Technical /Functional Skills: ASP.NET, C#, .NET Framework 4.0, Interdev, SQL, AJAX, JQUERY, SQL Server 2008
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate effective communication, personal time management skills and a flexibility and willingness to deal with a fast paced, dynamic environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work alone or with other developers to develop and build systems on the Microsoft.NET platform
- Assist in the back-end architecture and modeling of data-driven applications
- Research, test, recommend and implement new technologies, frameworks, and tools
- Manage and direct offshore teams-- set development schedules, delegate tasks, and review code
- Help enforce development standards and best practices for other developers
- Work with project managers, analysts and testers to execute the full software development lifecycle on projects
- Actively participate in your project’s agile process
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant experience
- A minimum of 3 years' experience developing applications on the Microsoft.NET framework using C#. This includes a deep understanding of the various components and features of the .NET framework and related technologies, as well as expert knowledge of the C# language constructs
- Solid experience developing web applications in the ASP.NET MVC 3+ framework.
- Extensive experience with development across all application layers- from data, to business logic, to user interface development
- Understanding of good development practices and code design, and knowledge of proper use and implementation of design patterns (creational, procedural, etc) and software architectures (SOA, Data-centric, MVC, MVVM)
- 2-5 years' experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL or other relational database software. This includes experience creating efficient and effective data models in high-transaction environments, writing complex queries, stored procedures and UDFs
- Proficiency building multi-tier, data-driven applications for the web. This includes knowledge of web frameworks, client-server architecture, web protocols (such as HTTP) and familiarity with client-side languages such as HTML and JavaScript
- Experience building web and mobile applications for multiple regions and cultures, languages (Localization/l10n, Internationalization/i18n)
