The primary objective of the Finance Coordinator position is to ensure the financial integrity and compliance of organization operations in Pakistan. This involves maintaining a comprehensive financial control system, managing financial policies and procedures, supporting sub-awardees, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The Finance Coordinator is responsible for upholding financial integrity and compliance within organization operations, with a focus on managing the finance department's operational tasks.
Major duties and responsibilities
- Processing Financial reports and processes in a manner that adheres to the financial control systems, policies and procedures ensuring accurate and timely implementation of the financial operational tasks.
- Interact with and offer guidance to sub-awardees regarding financial policies and procedures, ensuring their compliance with organizational standards.
- Play a pivotal role in full-service accounting, particularly with regard to the Pakistan Field & Sub Award Expense Report, ensuring all financial records are meticulously managed and maintained.
- Conducting all transactions and reports meticulously to guarantee adherence to organization policies, A-133 regulations, and donor stipulations.
- Provide data and financial reports within the organization, ensuring clarity and consistency.
- Contribute to the coordination and support for annual financial audits and the year-end closing process, ensuring all financial records are prepared and organized effectively.
- Ensuring compliance of all tax-related matters with the regulations set forth by the Government of Pakistan's Ministry of Interior and Economic Affairs Division.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the organization that are essential to the successful financial management and growth of the organization.
