Provide design and development leadership in delivering mobile solutions across various platforms including iPad, iPhone, Android, and others.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop mobile applications on various platforms
- Drive best practices, standards and guidelines on mobile technology
- Transform ideas, high-level business requirements, strategies, market trends, development standards and best practices into innovative mobile solutions
- Collaborate with business and cross-functional team members as needed
- Quickly prototype and iterate on ideas
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years in mobile application development
- Strong HTML5, JavaScript and CSS Skills.
- Strong object oriented design and analysis skills
- In-depth programming experience and knowledge of:
- .Net Framework
- VB.Net, C#, Java or another object oriented programming language.
- Using platform frameworks (e.g. iPhone, Android, WebWorks)
- Using platform and management tools (e.g., Eclipse, Visual Studio, SVN, TFS)
- Working in an Agile SCRUM environment with end-to-end involvement
- .Net Remoting and Web Service techniques and strategies (e.g., XML, REST,SOAP)
- Architecture of client-server, multi-tier and Internet systems
- Working with databases, writing queries and stored procedures (MS SQL Serveran asset)
- Caching data and efficiently loading data for use (e.g., lazy loading)
- Frameworks such as Sencha, JQuery, Kendo
- Programming experience in one or more of the following:
- Android
- iPhone (Objective C/ Cocoa)
- Windows Phone/Mobile
- Experience with technologies such as:
- REST/XML/SOAP Web Services
- JavaScript
- CSS
- JSON, Odata
- HTML5
- ASP.NET
- WCF
- Domain knowledge or experience on leading mobile platforms
- Professionally demonstrate exposure to the latest mobile and web technologies, while having a strong understanding of design principles
- Capable of translating complex business requirements into simple and killer mobile applications
- Ability to clearly articulate creative ideas to senior leaders
- Passion for learning new technologies and eagerness to collaborate with other creative minds
- Strong desire for exploring, evaluating and understanding new technologies
- Ability to work under pressure, hit tight deadlines and analyze a problem
- Strict attention to detail
