General Manager – Institutional Development

Responsibilities:
The position shall be responsible to assess the capacity building of partner NGO’s, their funding & projects and social & environmental aspects. The incumbent will be required to design programs for social mobilization, community participation, innovative approaches for capacity building and knowledge sharing of the partner organizations. The person should be able to network and liaison with current and prospective stakeholders. Design and deliver training on peace & conflict negotiation and gender. Carry out strategic visioning of the department including strategic & operational planning, contracts & budgets for the programs, projects and components. Facilitate third party studies & evaluations, appraisal, supervision, review and monitoring of partners’ portfolio, output and outcome monitoring. He/she has to ensure compliance of organization’s policies, procedures & work plans, performance-based assessments, oversight, setting and delivery of annual departmental targets.
