- Responsible to under take QC function in the workplace for daily QC activities.
- Responsible to check and reply civil clearances for services openings in RCC Slab, Core & Shear Walls, Masonry block walls, Water storage Tank and false ceiling closures etc. Accordingly, raising Inspection Requests to Project Management Consultant (PMC).
- Responsible to conduct inspections of raw materials, bought out items and review of material test certificates (MTC) and the specification requirements
- Responsible to interface and coordinate with clients for QC matters and coordinate with third party inspections agencies for all related inspection activities.
- Responsible to prepare quality control procedures/work instructions, ITP (inspection Test Plans) according to project/client requirements and follow up for its approval and monitor the implementation.
- Responsible to plan and supervise the subcontractor inspection activities and review of subcontractor QC performace.
- Responsible to supervise staff for reporting, recording and inspection activities.
- Responsible to prepare of final QC dossier for handing over to the client and maintain proper filling system (As per organization procedure) with full traceablity for retrieving the documents.
- Responsible to have a protective approach in problem solving.
- Good knowledge and experience in all QC related process inspection activities in Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting System and painting for MEP.
- Knowledge to read and interpret the various drawings used in projects for executing the work.
- Responsible to monitor all works in progress and immediately notify the resposnible Field Engineer, Supervisor or Foreman of any activity that may not be in accordance with project specifications.
- Upon completion of satisfactory QC inspection submitting Inspection Request generated by Site/Field Engineer to Client staff and coordinate with them for completing such inspection.
- Responsible to ensure that any outstanding works or remedial work required is brought to the attention of the responsible Site/Engineer, Supervisor or Foreman.
- Responsible to comply with all safety instructions and standing instruction. Key Results/Outcomes.
- Responsible to Sign-off QA/QC records.
