- 2 years of production Linux/ Unix systems administration in a production data center environment for large company
- Experience of working on different flavors of Linux (eg RedHat,
CentOS, Ubuntu)
- Emphasis on Linux/ Unix & previous experience strongly preferred
- Excellent understanding of TCP/ IP,
networking, firewall and security concepts
- Architectural experience in an LAMP
- Familiarity with monitoring and configuration distribution tools
- Excellent working knowledge of DNS, HTTP/S,
SSH,
LDAP,
NFS, PXE/DHCP/TFTP.
- Familiarity with system and software performance tuning
- Must be detail oriented, an organized thinker and able to act decisively under stressful conditions
- Excellent communication skills & proactive mindset
- Team player and self-motivated
