Job Summary:
The position is responsible to provide information for management decision making and supervise the work of research staff.
Key Accountabilities:
Provide research findings for senior management decision making
Facilitate in development and implementation of annual research plan.
Provide strategic direction to program managers based on analysis of the data
Disseminate research findings to internal research users
Provide managerial overview and supervise the work of research staff
Assist in implementation of performance-based financing with the support of Greenstar Operations.
Develop study designs and research instruments
Send request for submission of study proposals to research agencies
Job Specifications:
Master’s degree (Preferably MPH/Epidemiology/Statistics, Health Policy) with 5-8 years of overall experience in conducting research studies in health sector preferably in reproductive/mother and child health.
Hands-on experience of conducting quantitative and qualitative research projects.
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
Strong analytical, data analysis, presentation and report/proposal writing skills.
Strong in project management.
Ability to develop and execute monitoring and evaluation model.
Proficiency in using MS-Office package, statistical software such as SPSS,Stata,R,Epi data
