JOB PURPOSE:

The incumbent would be responsible to assist the Regional Program Manager and MEAL team at core office in the implementation of MEAL strategy and to monitor the extent the program and projects are meeting its objectives. He/she will conduct regular monitoring visits in the program/project locations. Regularly follow-up and report on the compliance status of monitoring visit recommendations for quality assurance. Moreover the incumbent will also be responsible to ensure that MEAL recommendations are properly implemented.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Implement the MEAL system in the Programs and Projects.
  • Conduct regular monitoring visits to Program and project sites. Provide recommendations to the staff for effective implementation of activities to the Program/project objectives
  • Regular follow-up and report on the compliance status of monitoring visit recommendations for quality assurance and effective
  • Coordinate quarterly data collection and analysis of findings and report to the Program/project and relevant Core management team
  • With MEAL core office team technical guideline, prepare, support and participate in conducting Baseline surveys/end line, assessments/studies and Program/Project Evaluation (both internal and external)
  • Responsible for training and supervision of survey teams required for evaluating program effects and impact
  • To prepare and review detailed implementations plans, work break down as per Program/project’s requirement
  • Assist the Regional Program Manager in designing MEAL formats.
  • Prepare & compile the consolidated report of ‘accountability to beneficiaries’ analysis(as and when required).
  • Develop and share a detailed MEAL report on monthly basis with Core MEAL section and Regional Program Manager

Required Qualification, Experience and Skills

  • Master’s Degree in Social/ Managment sciences
  • Minimum 3 years of overall experience, with 2 years of sector specific experience
  • Expertise in data Analyses, MS Office and other analysis software such as SPSS
  • Ability to work in challenging environment
  • Good Interpersonal and Communication skills
  • Proficient in report writing and documentation
