Key Responsibilities:

  1. Initiate contact with delinquent account holders through various communication channels (phone calls, emails, letters) to negotiate repayment plans and resolve outstanding debts.
  2. Implement effective collection strategies to recover overdue payments and minimize losses for the bank.
  3. Conduct thorough investigations to assess the financial situation of delinquent customers and determine appropriate courses of action.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and correspondence with customers in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with internal departments, including legal and compliance teams, to escalate complex cases and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Analyze trends in delinquent accounts and propose recommendations for process improvements to enhance collection efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Provide timely reports and updates on collection activities, recovery rates, and key performance indicators to management.
  8. Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for staff involved in collection and recovery activities.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to collection and recovery processes.
