• Experience in the safety field in a manufacturing environment with increasing responsibility, preferably in the chemical industry.
  • Must identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness and improve safe work practices.
  • Collaborate with appropriate department personnel to resolve identified hazards.
  • Assist in monitoring contractors and construction activities to ensure safe work practices are being followed.
  • Investigate industrial accidents, near-miss accidents and occupational injuries to determine causes, install preventative measures and manage return to work activities.
Skills:
  • Candidate must have strong sense of responsibility, flexibility and ability to work at fast pace.
  • Candidate must be a good communicator in a written and spoken English, have outstanding records of academic and non-academic activities.
  • Have the initiative, drive and creativity to rapidly progress & contribute to the objectives and culture of the company.
  • Hands on experience of ERP systems (Oracle/SAP)
