Interactive Research and Development (IRD) is looking to hire Java Programmers.
IRD is a non-profit grant driven organization that focuses on research and service delivery in low resource, low literacy areas around the world.
Job Description:
Should you sign on with IRD, you will be working with the Informatics team. The Informatics Team works on Java development efforts both within the organization and in collaboration with our global partners in the open source community.
Java Programmers will work with our global partners and groups within IRD to contribute towards open source projects geared towards collecting, organizing, and analyzing health information and other data in a resource efficient and widely applicable manner primarily using mobile devices.

Education/Experience Required:
Java Programmers typically have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with experience of programming in Java. Working Knowledge of J2ME, Spring, and Hibernate are a definite plus. PHP experience, while not a requirement, is an additional plus.
