DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for managing finance team and activities planning,budgeting and implementing the financial issues of the company.
- Ensure that proper financial procedures and systems are operated and maintained
- Ensure proper filing of financial documentation.
- Approves payments, purchase authorizations and other financial transactions to ensure compliance with staff rules, financial rules and implementing instruments/authority.
- Directly manage and supervise the monthly closing statements reports.
- Prepare the cash projections and cash request of all the relevant projects
- Maintain a system to monitor and forecast cash flow to meet due payments,administrative and projects expenditures,
- Constantly reviews banking arrangements to ensure timely transfer of funds and minimize exchange loses and bank charges;
- Advises the Management on all budgetary and financial matters;
- Briefs new staff members or staff assigned to the Field on finance matters;
- In close coordination with Provincial Offices, to monitor and resolve the financial related issues.
- Prepare monthly financial analytical report to management, on concerned issues.
- Maintain tallied accounts with all debtors/creditors as well as other accounts.
- Undertakes other duties as required.
Advance University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or other related fields Relevant
Experience
- Experience in auditing, accounting/finance
- Work in multi-cultural, multi-national context
- Work experience in developing country (other than own) under conditions of low infrastructure, hardship,Managerial and Technical Skills
- Supervisory responsibilities
- Ability to manage/administer a finance unit, ability to rationalize work, delegate tasks,
- Ability to prepare and administer budgets, manage finance sector
- Analytical/Communication/inter-personal skills
