System Administrator

As a System Administrator specializing in VMware integration, your primary responsibility is to configure, maintain, and optimize the network computer system, emphasizing virtualization technologies. This entails ensuring the secure storage and regular backup of data, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and networking issues, and monitoring system performance for smooth and secure operation.

In addition to traditional system administration duties, you will research and recommend new IT approaches to enhance the network computer system, focusing on VMware solutions. Your role involves determining business needs, evaluating existing network infrastructure, and designing and implementing virtual server environments to enable VMware integration.

Job Responsibilities:

Configure and maintain the network computer system, including hardware, system software, and applications.
Ensure data is stored securely and backed up regularly.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system issues.
Replace and upgrade defective or outdated components when necessary.
Monitor system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.
To research and recommend new IT approaches to improve the network computer system.
Provide technical support when requested.
Determining business needs and evaluating existing network infrastructure and systems.
Optimizing network hardware and software to enable VMware integration.
Developing and deploying customized VMware solutions.
Defining multiple virtual servers on a single host machine.
Virtualizing Windows servers and connecting them to networks and clouds.
Designing and implementing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and enabling template management.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s degree in computer science, information technology, computer programming, or similar.
Proven experience as a System Administrator, with experience managing large-scale computer systems, networks, and servers
Deep knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Linux
Experience with virtualization/cloud technologies, such as VMWare/Hyper-V and AWS/Azure.
Strong understanding of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching
Extensive knowledge of the fundamentals of VMware ESX and related technologies.
Ensuring data is stored securely and backed up regularly.
Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system issues when they arise.
Proficiency in VMware-associated programs and scripting languages, such as PowerShell, MS IIS, SAN architecture, bash shell, Citrix, and Python scripting language.
VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) preferred. MCSE Server is a plus
Great organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Availability to resolve urgent VMware environment problems outside of business hours.
