Department: Marketing & Communications
Main Responsibilities
1. Promotional Material
a. Develop and review content for LUMS publications, including newsletters, brochures, flyers, reports etc.
b. Develop and review social media content and communication
c. Develop, review and edit print media content e.g. press release, featured articles etc.
d. Work with creative agencies through effective communication briefs to ensure content that is high on quality, meets School and department objectives and remains consistent with the University marketing and communications strategy
2. Communication
a. Liaise and facilitate schools and departments in their specific content and communication requirements
3. Relationship Management
a. Build and maintain effective linkage with Schools and Departments. Strong networking to gather and market their events/news/updates/success stories in time
b. Work with internal clients to ensure that all communication is in line with the University Communications strategy
4. Social Media
a. Sound know-how of social media platforms and their communication requisites
5. News and Events Coverage
a. Work very closely with Schools and departments to develop effective news and events content for coverage on public marketing and communication platforms. Be ‘ahead’ of the game on news/events coverage at all times
