Main Responsibilities:
- Overall supervision, maintenance and day-to-day operation of Central Labs equipment including vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), photolithography and Magnetron sputtering and all its accessories and support equipment.
- Coordinate with faculty and other researchers for analyzing their samples according to their needs
- Operational training and supervision of selected students/RAs and provide advice and assistance to all users.
- Develop and implement programs that ensure safe operation, smooth functioning, optimum performance, and maximum availability of the instruments.
- Keep operation, training, safety and service records for the instrument. Maintain the record of consumables and their timely procurement.
- Report and take advice from a faculty supervisor to carry out all responsibilities.
Candidates are expected to have good fundamental understanding of magnetic and electrical properties of materials. Additional knowledge/experience of photolithography will be a plus.
