We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Sales Officer with expertise in IT solutions to join our team. As a Senior Sales Officer (IT), you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets within the IT sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor and resource for their IT needs.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and solution consultations to understand client requirements and propose tailored IT solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts and solution architects, to develop customized proposals and presentations for clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis of sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT sales, business development, or a related role, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport, overcome objections, and close deals effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools for pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
  • Certifications in sales or IT (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, Salesforce) are a plus.
