Job Duties:
Design, development and testing of embedded systems for Nucleus RTOS with emphasis on wired (USB, I2C, SPI, PCIe and SDIO) and wireless (WiFi 802.11 and Bluetooth) connectivity technologies. Evaluating customer’s unique requirements and proposing solutions. Guide other team members technically to solve complex technical issues and achieving goals.
Job Qualifications:
• BSc/MSc Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 5 plus years of experience.
• Development experience of modern RISC processors e.g. ARM, PowerPC etc.
• Development experience of a real time RTOS
• Excellent C and Assembly programming skills and problem solving
• Working experience with modern debugging technologies in embedded software. Use of equipment like JTAG ICE, Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and protocol analyzers.
• Working knowledge of serial busses e.g. USB, I2C,SPI and PCI/PCIe
• Working knowledge of short range wireless connectivity technologies e.g. Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11 etc.
• Understanding of various IEEE 802.11 standards, their operation and implementation
• Working knowledge of open source WPA supplicant and Host AP. Knowledge of porting open source WPA supplicant to an RTOS
• Ability to lead a small team of engineers (2 to 3) technically. Propose solution to complex problems and provide technical insight to other team members
• Ability to demonstrate domain knowledge and engage with prospective customers during pre-sales activities. Understanding customer requirements and proposing solution to those unique requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
