Overview & responsibilities

The Passenger Services Representative is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service to passengers at all stages of their journey, from check-in to boarding and arrival. They ensure efficient and smooth operations at the airport, assisting passengers with ticketing, baggage handling, boarding procedures, and resolving any issues or concerns that may arise during their travel experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist passengers with check-in procedures, including issuing boarding passes, checking baggage, and verifying travel documents.
  • Provide information about flight schedules, seat assignments, and boarding gate locations.
  • Ensure proper tagging, handling, and loading of passenger baggage.
  • Assist passengers with overweight or oversized baggage and provide guidance on baggage restrictions.
  • Facilitate smooth boarding processes by coordinating with gate agents, ground staff, and cabin crew.
  • Assist passengers with boarding, including pre-boarding assistance for passengers with special needs.
  • Verify boarding passes and travel documents to ensure compliance with security and airline regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of passenger transactions, including ticket sales, baggage handling, and passenger assistance provided.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of all records and documentation.
  • Update records with new information, changes, or revisions as required, following established procedures.
  • Organize and maintain file systems, both physical and digital, to facilitate efficient record keeping and retrieval.

Additional Information:

  • Interns will gain hands-on experience in PS operations, Customer Service, Boarding Procedure, and safety procedures. Opportunities for learning and growth within the aviation industry.
