Android Developer

To support our development team, we are looking for a senior Android phone developer who thrives in the start-up environment and who wants to apply his/her knowledge of Android platform development and design to help up build our compelling services. In this role, you'll be working with our product, engineering, quality and marketing teams. You can apply for a full time job or as freelance.

Key responsibilities

Develop a complete Android application for consumer market.
Phone usability and user experience according to Android and Google standards.
Work with the product manager, quality manager to ensure maintainability and support according to industry standards.
Use professional development tools and environment.
Provide support to the test and quality team.
Produce documentation according to company standards.

Required skills and experience

The ideal candidate will have

Extensive knowledge of android SDK
Android GUI, Camera, GPS API, and Services
Json API
SLF4J, microlog4android, Apache http component etc...
Notification mechanisms
Java and J2EE (servlet, ...)
UI and ergonomics
Good project and time management skills
Creative and challenging mind-set
Ability to cope with under pressure and work on tight deadline while coping with the demand of fast moving environment
Committed, enthusiastic and enjoy working as part of a fun hard- working team
Demonstrate a real interest and understanding of mobile phone development and the use of new media techniques
Previous experience in developing mobile applications
Ability to work in an international environment spreading multiple time zones.
