• A Regional Business Manager oversees market analysis and identifies opportunities for business growth in specific areas. They set realistic sales targets, guide managers in customer engagement and collection management, and ensure portfolio and revenue targets are met. They also enforce internal controls, conduct staff training, and monitor financial objectives, implementing corrective measures as needed. Regular field visits and customer engagement activities are key aspects of their role.
    • Conduct market analysis for business growth in target segments of respective areas.
    • Identify business opportunities and facilitate Area Managers / Branch Managers in preparing business strategy to capture market.
    • Set realistic business targets in sale of asset and liability products.
    • Achieve the set target for business growth in asset and liability products assigned to the region / areas / branches and Booths.
    • Guide Area, Branch and Relationship Managers - Booths in terms of customers, receivables, deposit mobilization, collection and default management for business growth and Bancassurance.
    • Ensure Regional portfolio is within the set benchmark for the year.
    • Ensure effective loss management in loans with prescribed criteria by conducting routine reviews of delinquency levels and collection effectiveness.
    • Ensure that collection parameters are as stipulated by Credit/Risk Department.
    • Maximize revenue generation, contain service delivery cost and ensure Region s profitability through sustainable business growth, controlled expense management against allocated budgets and high quality of portfolio management.
    • Ensure enforcement of internal control, and reporting as per MMBL s policies and State Bank of Pakistan s regulations.
    • Encourage growth of Regional staff through training and development.
    • Ensure sufficient back up for business continuity.
    • Conduct regular training sessions for Area, Branch and Booth managers.
    • Ensure all financial/non-financial objectives set for the year are closely monitored and reported as per schedule.
    • Implement corrective measures where required.
    • Ensure regular field visits and meet valued and prospect customers for business growth and feedback.
    • Ensure customer engagement activities in the region on regular intervals.
    • Hold a Bachelor s degree from a reputable Institution in business administration, commerce, accounting, marketing, economics or finance. However, MBA will be preferable (Subject to approval).
    • Have a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in sales planning, management, and operations experience within the retail/consumer banking.
