Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research on federal and state laws/regulations, evaluating their applicability to the Company’s services and processes.
  • Prepare detailed memoranda on a range of legal propositions, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Vet and review various contracts applicable in both US and Pakistan jurisdictions.
  • Assist in handling legal matters referred from HR and Admin Departments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal concerns.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and mitigate legal risks.
  • Collaborate effectively with senior members of the Legal Department in the US and Pakistan.
  • Assist senior counsel in the effective prosecution of litigation matters in both the US and Pakistan.
  • Prepare policies aligning with controlling laws/regulations.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Law degree.
  • Knowledge of US laws, legal frameworks, rules, and regulations.
  • Demonstrate exceptional research skills, especially in legal online databases.
  • Comfortable working in late evening to midnight shifts.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present complex legal concepts in both written and verbal communication.
