Software Support Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with our Development group to resolve more advanced issues when necessary.
  • Resolving escalated customer complaints.
  • Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps.
  • Respond to partner and customer enquiries through email and telephone.
  • Oversee and follow-up on open customer issues.
  • Reply to customer mission critical issues outside business hours.
  • Escalate issues as per Service Level Agreement.
  • Inform client functionality requests or software change requests to development team.
  • Offer proactive communication to clients, account managers and project managers.
  • Supervise Technical Support forum and website.

Skills Required:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or IT
  • Firm grasp of how the web works, networking, and software products
  • Experience with web site development, HTML, and SQL a plus.
  • Written and verbal skills; excellent phone manner.
  • Preferably 1 year experience in software development or software support
