NetSol requires a seasoned Development Center Head, to be based in Karachi, to help drive both product development and client project delivery. Collaborating closely with the Lahore office, the Development Head will play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of NetSols next generation application.
Successful candidate shall be responsible for:
- coordinating the delivery of multiple projects, developing and managing aggressive project plans, and working with resources across multiple teams.
- managing project delivery through disciplined project management processes, and close collaboration with the business partners and various IT Functions.
- hiring and training of technical resources at all levels.
- providing periodic project status reports and statistics.
- establishing coordination across the projects to ensure adequate resource availability and delivery commitments.
- leading the organization to adopt enhanced software development practices.
- Ideal candidate should:
- have 8 - 12 years of experience in a related field, with at least 2 - 3 years in a similar leading role.
- have a Bachelors degree in CS or a relevant discipline.
- be able to utilize and effectively communicate technical components of an initiative to applicable parties.
- have the ability to manage or escalate issues at the right time.
- have the ability and willingness to challenge business assumptions and motivate the team to develop strategically aligned solutions.
- have proven oral and written communication skills; excellent business presentation skills.
- be flexible to travel to Lahore as and when required.
