The position of Business Development Manager (BDM) for PALS Rescue is responsible for fundraising for the PALS NGO from existing and new donors which may be individuals, institutions or government organizations. PALS Rescue is a non-profit-public-service NGO formed more than 10 years back working towards establishing a comprehensive life saving infrastructure along the popular beaches of Karachi. This position is for individuals that are keen to develop their sales and marketing expertise while working for PALS Lifeguards raising funds to save the people of Pakistan from drowning accidents. The BDM reports to the Administrator and is responsible for achieving targets in line with the overall plan of PALS Rescue in addition to marketing, forecasting, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Lead Generation.
  • Addition of new donors to PAL’s portfolio.
  • Increase turnover and achieve targets set by the management.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by providing quality customer services.
  • Retentions of existing donors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through pre-sales and post-sales activities which involve building relationships at the Sr. Management level and expanding relationships within the industry.
  • Create strategic, effective and actionable account plans that define a clear growth strategy across and within the accounts to be covered.
  • Develop new initiatives and create project pipeline and work on the provided project pipelines to convert prospective clients in potential clients.
  • Develop and successfully close opportunities by continuously reinforcing the PALS Rescue value.
  • Seek clarity and coordinate with Supervisor pertaining to disqualification of accounts, discounting in excess of limits & pricing.
  • Prepare quality financial proposals for clients in coordination with the Administrator.
  • Plan and manage online, offline and venue based fundraising events

·         2 - 3 years of proven sales experience

·         MBA in marketing from a reputable institution
