We are looking for an outstanding "Head of Marketing and Operations" to market and operationaly manage highly regarded Aviation Engineering courses to prospective students and their influencers at a leading technical institute in a public engineering university. As a Head of Marketing and Operations, you should have roll up the sleeves attitude with significant all-round marketing and peerational management experience, in particular excellent copywriting and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a complex multi stakeholder working environment. This is a busy role with lots of students so you must like a fast paced role where no two days are the same!

About the role:

  • This position will be responsible for delivering growth (student recruitment) of income and reputation from a range of subject areas within this education establishment's portfolio.
  • You will deal with multiple stakeholders across the institute.
  • As well as campaign execution you will set marketing strategy and write engaging and successful marketing plans which fully support the portfolio of courses within your remit.
  • You will need to be able to think and plan strategically and respond rapidly to new opportunities
  • You will have excellent networking/business development skills ideally within the education sector and proven organisational and project management skills required to manage an extensive portfolio of marketing activities both online and offline

You will have experience of having sole responsibility for campaigns, setting marketing strategy and marketing campaign execution. Your digital marketing knowledge should extend across websites, emails and social media as well as analytics and some offline campaign experience should be in there too. Budget management, setting, monitoring and reporting against targets to key internal stakeholders and delivering value for money/return on investment is key. The ideally you will have experience of working in the Higher Education sector.

A creative marketing approach to your campaigns with the ability to capture the student's imagination is also highly sought after.
