Scope of Work:
As a part of the team, Camera Operator will be responsible for capturing high quality and attractive shots, videos and images. The goal is to produce high-quality images that communicate effectively and evoke emotions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Determine all aspects of shots
- Provide practical and creative input to scene planning
- Capture pictures and video filming for appeals, project delivery, case study footages and project updates
- Select, assemble and position equipment (cameras, stands, software etc.)
- Prepare cameras and test angles or camera movements
- Video filming, shooting scenes according to requirements
- Capture quality footage from a fixed or moving position
- Collaborate with the team and relevant departments, lighting and sound staff to produce the best final effect for project needs
- Resolve technical or practical issues
- Assist in editing footage with production team
- Managing and care of equipment
- Any other responsibility as assigned by the supervisor or head of office.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as camera operator of 10 years
- Experience operating relevant equipment (cameras, stands etc.)
- Excellent theoretical knowledge of filming and capturing footage
- Ability to understand and follow camera scripts
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to think and act quickly
- Ability to operate cameras and drones with equipment
- A team player
- Attention to detail
- Willing to travel frequently
- Physical strength to carry heavy equipment and stamina
- Excellent color vision and hearing
- High school diploma; degree in film, media or relevant field is a plus
