We are seeking a Monitoring Officer with excellent knowledge and experience. This is an Islamabad-based contractual position with full-time dedication.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on the assigned project area’s progress and results.
  • Design and carry out baseline studies, midterm reviews, and end-line studies.
  • Monitor, report, and revise project indicators and log-frame as required.
  • Design tailored qualitative and quantitative data collection tools to measure project performance against indicators.
  • Actively visit the project sites and generate qualitative as well as quantitative evidence of progress and results.
  • Develop and lead training for project staff and government counterparts on M&E data collection.
  • Collect and analyze data to assess progress towards project targets and milestones, including disaggregating and analyzing data by various variables.
  • Write high-quality reports, success stories, and highlights, tailored to different audiences to show progress and results.
  • Conduct presentations and offer statistics on project performance over time.

Any other responsibility as assigned by the supervisor or head of office.

 Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences, preferably with a M&E certification.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant MER experience in a donor-funded environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Urdu.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio) as well as capacity to operate in relevant databases.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to meet targets within tight deadlines
