Senior Chemical Engineer

You will play a critical role in the design, optimization, and implementation of chemical processes within our facilities. Leveraging your expertise in Aspen Plus and other relevant tools with manual calculations, you will lead the development of innovative solutions to enhance production efficiency, safety, and sustainability. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize Aspen Plus and related process simulation software to model and optimize chemical processes.
Establish heat and mass balances to ensure the efficient operation of process units.
Conduct equipment sizing and specification based on process requirements and design criteria.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement process improvements.
Perform detailed analysis and troubleshooting to identify opportunities for optimization.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and operations personnel.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field and specifically has experience working in the Petrochemical industry like urea fertilizer plant, methanol production plant, etc.
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in chemical process engineering, with a focus on Process design simulation.
Proficiency in establishing heat and mass balances for complex chemical processes.
Demonstrated ability to perform equipment sizing and specification based on process requirements.
Strong Skills in preparing the engineering documentation and reporting for the work progress as well as technical data reporting to clients.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship with flexible working hours.
Able to communicate strongly in the English language.
