JOB OVERVIEW
SE Operation Wireless shall monitor the O&M work for the DRS , WLL & DSLAM on DRS in the Division. He shall also monitor the corrective & preventive maintenance of the Wireless works and work for the resolution of any faults in the network at earliest. He shall also monitor the administrative as well as the financial matters
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- O&M of DRS, BTSs & DSLAMs on last Mile DRS
- Ensure maintenance of DRS Links of different vendor , WLL BTSs and DSLAM working last Mile on DRS.
- Arranging test equipment /spares for the maintenance team in case of any fault and resolution of the issues at earliest.
- Manage the Commercial Power Issues of WLL BTS along with arranging in time Payments.
- O & M of power plant (Solar/AC/ DG / Battery Bank ) of DRS Repeater stations.
- Overseeing the activities regarding Operation & Maintenance of Digital Radio System , WLL Radio Network , DSALM & VHF.
- Corrective maintenance of DRS links , WLL BTS , DSLAM as well as power plants at DRS repeater stations.
- Managing the administrative / Financial matters of the whole division.
- Monitor and evaluate reporting employees.
- Any other project assigned by the supervisor .
Coordination:
- Coordinate with Switching Wing ,OFS wing, DRS & WLL Development , different Vendors, Wireless/Mobile Operators, Pak Army, PAF & M/S Pak Railways.
- Prepare Status Reports:
- Prepare status reports of tasks assigned & tasks accomplished.
Expertise: Extensive experience in relevant field.
