- Assist GM PO&CC and team with External & internal Communications’ strategic planning and execution;
- Create and manage content development according to organization’s communications needs
- Drafting company’s literature, press releases, articles, news reports, media relations content, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, speeches and corporate messages.
- Sustain strong, trusting relationships with media personnel, particularly, liaise with IT & Telecom Beat Reporters/Correspondents and target groups to provide timely and accurate information on the Company.
- Maintaining and updating media data base in coordination with PR agency.
- Managing media events (Media Get-togethers, Meet ups, Iftar Dinners etc.), responding media quires and follow ups with concerned department internally to get their issues resolved.
- Releasing corporate messages/PRs in media and follow ups with media personnel to ensure coverage
- Track news coverage of PTCL in traditional and new media, and help develop responses appropriately;
- Ensure overall monitoring, evaluation and reporting for print, electronic and digital for brands, products and organizational activities, compiling Monthly Activity Report.
- Making Summary of Daily News Clippings for Management and liaise with agency for timely delivery of daily report.
- Managing department’s financial activities, budgeting and SAP related matters
- Coordination with vendors on regular basis, managing day to day operational issues, contract signings, renewals, and payment related matters;
- Assisting GM PO&CC on special projects, assignments and tasks assigned by Group/Senior Management
- Liaison with external agency (PR) to ensure alignment and execution of all communication strategies.
- Managing the Agency to ensure that all deliverables must be received in time including daily and monthly reports, content, counsel and advisory. Conducting performance audit/GAP analysis of the PR agency.
- Other duties as assigned by GM PO&CC.
