HR Officer

A medium sized manufacturing facility in SITE Karachi is looking for an HR officer with at least 3-5 years job experience. The candidate will undertake to renew contracts and evaluate staff performance under the supervision of the Manager Administration. The company also wants to formalize its staff handbook and annual staff evaluations and trainings. The candidate should have an enthusiasm for introducing this kind of structure into the company.

In addition a considerable effort is being made to introduce Health and Safety awareness in the work environment and the candidate will be expected to monitor staff awareness and compliance of the established procedures.

The job will suit a young graduate with a background in Human Resources who will have the energy and motivation to implement the strategies that are proposed and modify them in the light of experience. Much of the groundwork has been done already but day to day implementation and monitoring is required.

The working environment is located within the factory premises and will involve regular interaction with production staff and female applicants need to bear this in mind whilst applying. The organization encourages females in the workplace and no specific gender is sought for this job.

Skills

-Good communication skills for both written and verbal communication is required.
- Ability to understand documented systems and help in the implementation and monitoring process
-Enthusiasm for documenting staff procedures and health and safety procedures into a handbook
- Ability to communicate for simple training sessions

The person needs to be able to cultivate the respect of production staff by displaying a knowledge and authority commensurate with a factory environment.
