The applicant must be computer literate and be able to independently correspond in English and Urdu .
Applicants who have worked in an Engineering Industry specially Rolling Mill on the shop floor would be preferred .
He would need to be familiar with the TMT Process .
The applicant must be a team player and will need to work with the maintenance/workshop /procurement /sales and be able to deal with the labour contractor on a routine basis .
He would need to focus on the quality of the materials produced in terms of its mechanical and chemical properties and prepare breakdown reports and ensure all preventative maintenance schedules are properly followed .
He would need to be familiar with ISO documentation
The applicant would be working on the shop floor and introduce processes to ensure efficiency and minimize wastages and keep a tight control on the consumption e.g gas, water and electricity and consumables .
Production reports would need to be maintained and cause of every breakdown identified and analyzed and suggestions for improvement given
He would be responsible for PPC (Production planning and Control) and to ensure correct raw materials are used in the planning process. The state of the machinery must be in perfect condition before production starts on a daily basis.
