Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and implementation of qualitative and quantitative research studies, including data collection, analysis, and visualization to inform policy recommendations.
- Collaborate with senior researchers to author policy briefs, working papers, and articles, ensuring content is accessible, accurate, and actionable.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of training modules and participate in capacity-building activities for a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Support project management tasks to ensure research projects are delivered on time and within scope, including planning, organizing, and monitoring project timelines and deliverables.
- Engage with social media and conventional media outreach efforts, helping to communicate our research findings and policy recommendations to a broader audience.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze data and texts, drawing meaningful inferences that support our research goals.
- Participate in the preparation of presentations and reports for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and effectiveness in communication.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 16 years of education in economics, Public Policy, Environmental Studies, Political Science, Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and analyze complex information.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, persuasive, and well-structured content.
- Basic understanding of research methodologies and statistical tools.
- Proficiency in project management and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Passionate about contributing to policy and action research that drives societal progress.
