The incumbent will be responsible to manage and coordinate all activities related to plant expansion and the bottle-necking projects. Based on strategic road map, develop capacity road map and implement expansion projects, including project identification, design, equipment selection, ordering and contract selection, supervision during construction and installation.
· Experience as technical lead for multiple complex capital projects within the pharmaceuticals industry.
· Should be well versed with cGMP compliance requirements. Able to represent process engineering design, construction and qualification processes to regulatory authorities.
· Should have good knowledge of Fire Fighting, First Aid, Safety at work place, Occupational hazards and environmental protection.
· Should possess membership of local or international Engineering institute.
· Should possess good hands on experience in trouble shooting and preventive maintenance of pharmaceutical production machinery including clean steam generators, compressors, absorption chillers, air-handling units, dehumidifiers, boiler, distillation plant, utilities, water system. Etc.
· To lead a team of engineers & technicians and assist the Director plant operations in planning & execution of new projects and smooth functioning of all plant installation.
· Champion self – initiated or assigned projects. Justifies project goals to senior management within and outside the company. Aggressively drives areas under their control. Makes decisions based on corporate rather than functional area priorities. Act as mentor for those with similar or less engineering expertise.
