Seven Line is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our Lahore office and collaborate closely with our Dubai team. The Quantity Surveyor will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects by providing accurate cost estimates, monitoring project finances, and managing procurement activities. 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  2. Budget Monitoring: Monitor project budgets and expenditures throughout the construction process, identifying and addressing any cost variations or discrepancies.
  3. Procurement Management: Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services, ensuring timely procurement and delivery to the project site.
  4. Contract Administration: Assist in the preparation and evaluation of contracts, including subcontractor agreements, and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.  
  5. Quantity Take-offs: Conduct accurate quantity take-offs for materials and labor, supporting the development of project schedules and resource planning.
  6. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings, proposing solutions to mitigate risks and optimize project performance.
  7. Cost Reporting: Generate regular reports on project costs, cash flow projections, and financial performance, providing insights to project stakeholders and senior management.
  8. Collaboration: Work closely with the Dubai-based project team, providing support and expertise to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  9. Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control processes, conducting inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to quantity surveying, actively contributing to the continuous improvement of departmental processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in quantity take-off software and cost estimation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and project management principles.
  • Certification or membership in a relevant professional association (e.g., RICS) is desirable.
  • Fluency in English
