General:

  • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis.
  • Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models.
  • Identify trends, advise the company and recommend actions to the General Manager Finance based on sound analysis.
  • Active participation in strategic planning and business development meetings/sessions
  • Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the field.
  • Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope.
  • Guide cost analysis process by providing trends and forecasts; and explaining processes and techniques.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Responsible to provide direction for strategic financial management by the vision, mission, values and policies upheld by the management / Board.
  • To prepare feasibility reports in respect of the organizational service expansion plan.
  • To identify control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Build Capacities of Team members.

Finance:

  • Verification of all financial transactions (and related voucher with all supporting document) against the allocated budget.
  • Ensure Proper Monthly Closing and posting of all JV’s at the month end.
  • Preparation of budgets and financial reports for donor funded projects.
  • Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts project budget vs actual expenditures.
  • Preparation of departmental variance reports and meetings with different head of functions to discuss variance analysis reports.
  • Regularly update related-party documentation
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
  • Assist & coordinate audits and financial spot check (internal & external).
  • Determine cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data.
  • Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; monitoring cash flow for management decision-making.
  • Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
  • Develop financial model’s dashboards and conduct bench marking and process analysis.
  • Designing and Implementation of ERP in the organization to automate reporting of financial and operational data
  • To develop variance analysis reports by comparing actual results against approved budget.
  • To determine the cost of operations by collecting operational data.
  • To plan financial regulatory compliance of operational review/audit.
  • Coordinate with internal/ external auditors of the company/ donors for finalization of annual audit.
  • Prepare monthly accounts for finalizing presentation for Executive Committee/Audit Committee.
  • Update GM Finance on financial matters of organization by preparing different analysis/information.
  • Share monthly reconciliation of all banks accounts with GM Finance on regular basis
  • Assist Sr. Manager Finance and Accounts in Reviewing and finalizing quarterly accounts of the company.

Tax Matters:

  • Reviewing tax matters including review of annual income tax return of the company and tax compliance by the company as required by the income tax ordinance 2001.
  • Ensure timely deposit of income and sales taxes withheld.
  • Ensure Timely filing of Quarterly Withholding tax Returns as per income tax ordinance 2001.
  • Ensure timely filing of Sales Tax Returns as per Sales tax act .
  • Preparation of tax workings and reconciliations for all notices received from FBR and correspond with tax consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, regulatory, policy and procedural guidelines and conforms to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Financial Accounting Standards.
