- Greet and welcome patients
- Maintaining working bench ready for drawing blood as per standards
- Request and order supplies to maintain stock
- To maintain par level inventory
- Check the requisition slips and lab-specimen slips and identify the patient by using two identifiers
- Draws blood aseptically and collect it in suitable tubes
- Label all tubes with name, medical record number, date and prepare it for transport
- Receive specimens other than patient blood for labeling and booking them in system and making them ready for transport
- Visit outside Lab Pick-up point (LPP) for collecting patient blood
- Perform all protocols as per policy
- Generate daily patients reports and coordinate with field coordinator/line manager for any other problem related to phlebotomy.
