- Initiate, maintain an effective 6S program and Shop Floor Management. Own this program as a foundationalprogram for all lean improvement activities.
- To ensure the implementation of Lean concepts on floor.
- To prepare daily performance reports of all production sub processes with reasons for short output.
- Utilize DMAIC (Define, Measure,Analyze, Improve and Control) methods to close business performance gaps
- Lead and manage a variety of kaizens,and other improvement activities which are aimed at removing non-value added activities therefore reducing costs, improving delivery and building customer satisfaction.
- Promote, educate and instill a culture of waste identification and elimination throughout the manufacturing organization by utilizing Lean Manufacturing concepts and the principles of Kaizen (continuous improvement).
- Through continuous improvement, influence behaviors and culture through introduction and development of information boards, visual Management, hour-by-hour tracking, suggestion systems, or other appropriate tools or techniques.
